Starakoza has many names. The elves call him Anumaya. The orcs “Gtahk Borai” and gnomes and halflings refer to him as “Ol’ Fuzzy”.

Starakoza appears as a black furred creature or humanoid with large glowing eyes. His exact shape is rarely the same twice. He is perhaps the oldest nature spirit in the world. He can appear as small as a mouse or as large as a grove of trees. It is believed by many that Starakoza can see, hear, or travel through any tree or bush.

Starakoza is equal parts playful and cruel, wise and foolish, demanding and giving. He is the living embodiment of wildness and the unpredictability of nature.

Though he does not grant spells directly many druids pay homage to Starakoza in their prayers and rituals.
